WHY IT IS SO HARD TO WHISTLEBLOW

It is so hard to whistleblow for the following reasons. 1. People will not believe you. 2. People will not welcome the disturbance your information brings. 3. People will see you as the problem not the problem you are reporting. 4. People will look to find fault in you. 5. People will find fault in something you have said or done or the way you have handled things. 6. People will try and bury the problem by burying and silencing you, using any technique, available, however unjust. 7. People will humiliate you, mock you and ridicule you. 8. People will betray your confidences, expose you strategically, threaten you and use their power over you to intimidate you. 9. People will make you feel ashamed, at fault and bring pressure upon you to think of others, their reputations and the potential negative impact on the group. 10. People will try and conceal your information in complex internal processes of investigation, hidden from the public and coerce your agreement to an internal resolution. 10.  People will mark you out as a troublemaker, give you poor references and blight your future. All this must change and the change will only come about if driven by legislation.
