WITCHCRAFT

Unfortunately for as long as the British Establishment institutionalises Christianity, there is no rational bulwark to prevent fantastical delusional thinking and practices blighting our nation and culture. Evangelicalism, fundamentalism and Pentecostalism are rife, all presenting abusive approaches to children and the public. The present Archbishop of Canterbury is an evangelical. I was horrified to witness ministers from a Church of England mission church using a hospital chapel and a hospital mortuary to 'do battle with the devil' in order to 'try and bring back to life' a child that had been dead for two days. It is chilling to speak with apparently 'ordinary' people and find they are living in fear of both God and the Devil. Children must be protected from this nonsense and ridding our schools and our public national life of religious observances and broadcasting is an essential first step.
