JEFF STELLING CAPITULATES

Jeff Stelling ought not to be cowed by the vile words of trolling ranters. If he had 415,000 followers and can only cope with their sugary adulation, then he is in danger of riding the celebrity phantom express that leads to perdition. He should have stayed and used the power of language to quell any troll insurgency. Words must not be allowed to defeat us. The greatest defence of one's son, is not to quit, but to engage linguistically with an imbecilic tweeter. I deplore the anonymity of social media that allows unrestrained and unaccountable comment.
