YES I RUN DOWN CHRISTIANITY

Yes I run down Christianity that has so little to do, if anything, with Jesus. I also rail against the false and distorting claims about the 'Christ'. Jesus, on the other hand was a human being, like us, trying to make sense of his world, making mistakes as well as expressing compassion and love. It is not 'God' that I describe as an evil sadistic tyrant, rather I point out that other humans, like the Christians, not only have described their God as such, but are willing to worship such a monster. My book urges us to be bold and resolute in casting away such atrocious human projections of our own ills onto a self justifying deity of our own creation. In their place, instead, we should be honest and humble enough,  to try and perceive what a truly good human being ought to be, and then, from free will, and not in tow to a heaven/hell delivering parent figure, set out to aspire to become it. Whatever 'God/s' there may be ( if at all )  would far prefer honest endeavour rather than servile devotees.
