THE RICH MEGALOMANIACS ARE BOMBING AGAIN
The arms industry will be licking their fingers. The super rich alliance will be oiling their bank accounts. The rich nation's poor will be manipulated to enlist with the task of destroying the earth's poorer. Not a rich world politician's child will lose their legs, their arms or their heads at a front line. There will be banquets and limousine rides. Millionaire war mongers will straddle the globe in super jets and the great British and other publics will surrender to be brainwashed and duped. Babies will be sliced open with shrapnel, children roasted in bomb blasts, and mothers decapitated while breatsfeeding. We will watch all this happening in our name without so much as a whimper of protest.
We gestate a war with irresponsible journalism, arms supply and mercenaries and then claim the moral high ground to grow richer as we dispense more armaments and carry out our own slaughter?
Our self justifying deities are only a front for our own aggressive tendencies. We share a common humanity with all and merely package our violence differently. Time to stop pointing the finger and learning to understand.
No one has the luxury to stand aside when we are complicit with innocent deaths and the exercise of self interested violence.
No 'God' wills violence, only those who fabricate deities and worship themselves by proxy.
I suggest many have missed the sub plot, where the rich world ravages the earth, straight jackets nations with unjust trade agreements, ignores the migrant slave trade upon which the UK and the rich world depends, grows obese in decadent living while so many crave even clean water and then delights in selling the raging poor the armaments with which battle can be engaged so that the profit levels of the armaments industries and the western economies can boom.
Who has been slaughtering and is slaughtering the innocent in their thousands? Have blinkered eyes not been reading the consequences of our war lust, not followed the rising toll of our war games?
Who is the terrorist, who is the soldier, who is the innocent? Who was the terrorist when an innocent Iraqi family was blown apart by an allied bomb?
Look over your shoulder at the mountains of corpses from conflicts past. So many choose to be but mice on the treadmills of destruction. Life becomes weary of our incapacity to change the script, alter the plot, set out anew.
Male potentates devise male deities to muscle their way through a fragile world. Time to divest ourselves of such divine and macho follies and allow women, men and children together to carefully build the human family.
