WELBY'S MID DINNER DISTRACTION

Welby offers his 'wisdom' re Boko Haram's kidnapped girls. However the views of a former oil executive, from a privileged background, who lives in a palace and dines with royalty are unlikely to assist in solving this outrage. What may in the long run, is if Nigeria's rich elite, and its woefully corrupt government spread the benefits of Nigeria's wealth to this stricken, neglected and undeveloped region. Poverty so often breeds desperation and atrocities. The wealthy have to learn that it is no solution to leave their banquet in between courses to try and sort out an irritating problem among the rabble beyond. All must share the fruits of the world's table or there will never be a lasting peace.
